My first experiences with Apple MacBook Pro

I am in the new company and with new job I also obtained new hardware. It is MacBook Pro. It is very nice notebook. I was used to work with normal PC with windows or linux but Mac is really different. The first few days was really headache. The problem was keyboard. The most different is using of the apple key instead of ctrl. When you are used to copy text with ctrl+c, ctrl+v you must change it to apple+c, apple+v. It seems simple, but when you are using ctrl key for almost 20 years is hard to change to apple. My second problem was absence of delete key. When you want to delete in del style you must use backspace key with Fn key. I have alson quite problem with Fx keys. Don't know why, but normal function is the function, which is normaly used with Fn key. For example volume or screen intensity. Maybe Mac hasn't much functionality with Fx keys, but I am using shell a lot and Midnight Commander and there isn't possible to use F3 key to see file content or F8 for deletion. I still don't know how to supply key insert, but maybe I am too lazy :). I must use ESC key with number key instead. As I said. You can get used to everything, but the first days was really problem.
After almost two months I am almost friend with my new Apple, but sometimes it surprised me a lot .

My first trip in Pendolino

Yesterday I went to Brno. I choose Pendolino for the first time. I have to say that it's much better then normal train. The time was only 20 minutes shorter then with normal express, but it was really comfortable. If I can, I will choose it again.
